Unfortunately, at this point in time, we won't be offering multiple skins just to conform with other sites. Is it something for us to consider thinking about moving forward? After the feedback we've been getting, absolutely! But right now it's just not something we want to do. Here at Shine we make the effort to change up the skins and offer a new look every 3-4 months so this isn't a forever deal.
I know a lot of people have mentioned that the skin is very bright but, to echo what other staff members have said, turning down the brightness of your computer by even just a little bit really does help a lot. I, too, wear glasses and have issues with looking at bright colours for a long period of time so the initial shock was there when I first came on Shine with the new skin. But after turning down the brightness on both my computer and my phone when I visit the site, I have no issues with visiting the site.
